A man in our territory had to shoot at a couple of JW sisters for them to get the point of not bothering knocking again.
A bit extreme, but it did the trick. The couple it happened to was so distressed that they stayed away from preaching door-to-door for a while.

there was a df of a mentally challenged young man he sexually assaulted a young girl.. in jesus day people were possessed by demons but we know today they had mental issues.. do you know of any cases where a mentally challenged person was df.. the case that i mention the young man was 18-20 years old and it was a case where he was.

Mentally challenged people shouldn't be baptized. We have around 8 in our Spanish hall, all somewhere in the Autism spectrum some more functional than others, and they are all baptized much to my chagrin.

baptism for young jw's is not the same as that practiced by other denominations, and it carries a lot of potential for harm.
getting baptized as a young person in association with the jw organization is harmful to young ones who as they are maturing, wish to exit from the clutches of this captive religion.. when you see young ones, such as the one in the photo below, get baptized, doesn't your heart just sink, knowing the jw religion has caught another victim in its web of deception and abuse?.

Baptism without full knowledge and understanding is the same as infant baptism.
We are to follow on Jesus Christ's steps. At what age did he baptized? Alright then! Even though the Bible mentions that time when he was in the synagogue questioning the clerics, which meant he had love and appreciation for God, still he did not get baptized. He was a CHILD.
Yet JWs have baptized kids as young as 7 years old!!! It is shameful!!!😡

i'm not really sure where to post this.. i've been with my boyfriend for 4 months now and i've really never been happier.
i was brought up in the church of christ with an elder father and i really believe in my religion, although i will admit to being a lousy christian at times due to sheer laziness (not wanting to get out of bed on sunday).
my boyfriend essentially lives with me.
If he is reinstated, unless you want to convert to JWism, you are in for a rude awakening. Start planning for the many times he will be awol from your life.

Have never supported it; Do not think ever will, although my taxes are used towards it.
US military has done such criminal harm in the Middle East that I cannot bring myself to ever be interested.
Poor members believe they are agents of good. In reality, nothing more than sacrificial lambs to the God of greed and war.
For sure my deep JW indoctrination plays a part in my feelings about all things.

i was always fascinated by it.
as a kid, i used to go to the local library and secretly read books by so called apostates.
later, i would sneak into christian book stores and quickly buy a book or two.
Once I stumbled into this forum years ago, forgettabout it, I knew it would never be the same. I have left mentally and never looked back. It is good for my psyque to know I am not alone.
